The Simply Feet Chiropody website shown on a desktop monitor and a mobile phone

Mary Fenner has run Simply Feet Chiropody in Linton since qualifying in 1991. The practice was busy and well regarded, but the website had been built by someone else years earlier and had stopped doing its job. We rebuilt it around the questions people actually ask before booking foot care, where both patients and AI systems can find the information they’re looking for.

The situation.

Two people run the practice. Mary treats, Rebecca runs reception and the diary, and every booking comes by phone. That means every unanswered question lands on one member of staff. The old website was hard to navigate and missing the information people need before they ring:

  • What it costs
  • Whether a GP referral is needed
  • Whether a chiropodist and a podiatrist are the same thing
  • What happens at a first appointment
  • When the clinic is open

What we built.

A five-section website with dedicated pricing and FAQ pages, designed so a first-time visitor can clearly find the answers to their questions.

  • Credentials in the hero. HCPC registration and location above the fold, with named, qualified team bios below.
  • Prices on the page. Three anchor prices plus the full list of twelve treatments. No enquiry form in the way of a ballpark figure.
  • Eight real FAQs. The exact conversations reception was having by phone.
  • Everything in readable text. Clinic hours, prices and answers in readable text rather than images or widgets.
  • One clear action. Phone number in the navigation on every page, click to call on mobile, address and map at the footer.

The value added.

Built to the Confident Buyer Framework, which measures a website against what a buyer needs to feel confident rather than how it looks:

PriceTransparent in a sector where many local clinics still say “call for a quote”.
ProcessA nervous first-timer knows what will happen and how long it takes before booking.
FitThe treatment list and referral answer let people rule themselves in or out.
ProofHCPC registration and a named practitioner do more work than adjectives.
AI visibilitySomeone asking an AI assistant what private foot care costs near Linton is asking a question this website now answers in text it can actually read.

I now have a fresh new website with all our necessary information, including staff bios, opening hours, treatments available, and how to get in touch. It looks so clean and professional, yet friendly rather than overly clinical. It’s very easy for my existing clients or any new clients to find the information they are looking for. Absolutely delighted with it.
